Coal Services Christmas Closure Information

Christmas holiday closure

Our businesses will be closed from 1pm on Friday, 20 December 2024. We will return to normal operations on Thursday, 2 January 2025.

Some of our businesses will operate with essential staff during this time. Please see below for full details:

Coal Mines Insurance

A limited number of employees will be available should workers or employers need assistance (public holidays excluded). Please continue to follow standard procedures for injury notification.
Please call 1800 WORKER (1800 967 537) for all enquiries.

CS Health

CS Health offices (including phones and emails) will be unattended and no services will be available during this time. However, any pre-arranged, existing commitments for onsite drug and alcohol testing will be completed as scheduled.
All enquiries will be responded to when normal operations resume on Thursday, 2 January 2025.

Mines Rescue

Mines Rescue normal operations will resume on Monday 6 January, 2025.

Mines Rescue will be adequately resourced during this time to cover critical duties.
Please follow standard emergency protocols in the event of an incident requiring assistance.

Mine Safety Technical Services (MSTS)

MSTS will be closed from Monday, 23 December 2024. MSTS offices will be unattended and no services available until normal operations resume on Monday, 6 January 2025.
